With filming for the first season of the HBO Harry Potter series drawing to a close this month, some of the cast were spotted in Waterloo on 3 May.

The Weasleys, Vernon and Hermione’s father?

Rumours had suggested the Weasley twins were there, but in fact it was far more than just Fred and George who were spotted on set. Indeed, a user on X shared a photo of Molly Weasley with the twins, Vernon and a mysterious man.

Although his identity has not been officially revealed, he is actor John Hopkins. And given that this appears to show the Hogwarts students returning at the end of the school year, what could be more natural than to think that this might well be our very first glimpse of Hermione Granger’s father?

But that’s not all, as another photo shows the Weasleys from behind with a young man who could well be Percy Weasley. This would therefore be our very first glimpse of Ruari Spooner in costume.
