The magic is officially beginning to take shape.
Today, the very first official image from the upcoming HARRY POTTER TV series has been released, giving fans their first glimpse into this highly anticipated new adaptation. And while it may only be a single shot, it’s already packed with intriguing details.
The image shows Harry from behind, dressed in full Quidditch gear. His long robe flows in the wind, proudly displaying the deep red and gold colors of Gryffindor. On the back, the name “Potter” is clearly visible above the number 7, a striking and symbolic choice that immediately caught fans’ attention.

A snowy Quidditch scene
The setting appears to be a snowy Quidditch pitch, adding a cold, atmospheric tone to the scene. Snow gently falls around him, enhancing the sense of immersion and giving the image a cinematic, almost nostalgic quality. A vibe reminiscent of Game of Thrones, another HBO production.

But what truly stands out are the details in the background. Several banners can be seen hanging in the stands, including ones featuring the crests of Hufflepuff and Gryffindor. Another banner appears to be dedicated to supporting Fred and George Weasley. You can also catch a glimpse of a tiny bit of the flying broom.
Familiar, yet refreshingly new
Altogether, the image feels both familiar and refreshingly new. It captures the essence of the original world while hinting at a deeper level of detail and storytelling that this series aims to bring.
And the excitement doesn’t stop here. The official account behind the series has confirmed that more content will be revealed tomorrow.
